Welcome to Cambridge Manor Care Home

The newest of our care homes, which opened in August 2009, Cambridge Manor has been quick to create a wonderful name for itself in the area as a home with wonderful caring staff who make it their priority to provide a warm and caring environment for their residents.

The home provides care for residents over the age of 55 years who require long term personal, social and nursing needs. The residents may be living with the experience of dementia, physical frailty, nursing needs or terminal illness. The aim is to foster an atmosphere of care and support which enables residents to live as full, interesting and independent lifestyle as possible with rules and regulations being kept to a minimum.

The home has spacious accommodation for 89 residents, offering a very high standard of care and facilities. The home also boasts a large secure garden designed to allow residents to wander safely.

Quality furniture and soft furnishings are used throughout the home to provide a high level of comfort for residents. The lounges and dining rooms are homely and spacious. Rooms are equipped with profiling beds and all have 22” LCD TV’s. We have included a facility for residents to obtain their own high speed internet access, should they wish to do so. All rooms are single and have full en-suite facilities.

Built over four floors, the home provides 3 floors for residents containing six separate units enabling us to look after residents with differing care needs. Each unit has its own nurse’s station communal shower and communal bathroom. All baths are Hi-Lo baths enabling easy bathing of the residents.

Freshly prepared, home cooked meals are a feature of the home and our qualified Chef will happily discuss with residents, any particular requirements. Our nutritional therapist visits the home on a regular basis and works with the Chef to ensure that all residents receive a varied, well-balanced diet.

A fully equipped in-house laundry ensures that residents benefit from a prompt service delivered on the premises.
